Ashlee + Jay's wedding at Vesper Hill Children's Chapel and Pig + Poet in Camden, Maine

Ashlee and Jay's wedding was nothing short of special. The clouds kept threatening rain and as the ceremony began a light sprinkle started, but right when they exchanged rings - the sun came out. I see all sorts of beauty and love at weddings, but this was a really special moment. Jay told me later the sky brightened when he proposed too! So happy to share a little city with these two, and to continue to cross paths in Portland. Thank you Jay + Ashlee for trusting me and sharing your love!

Ashlee is a pediatric speech and language pathologist and Jay is currently developing food for Maine’s iconic brand, Stonewall Kitchen. They live on Munjoy Hill in Portland, Maine where they enjoy building their home and life together. They met at The Tiki Shake Off, a cocktail competition for USBG at Maine Craft Distilling. Later that evening they found themselves at a popular gathering spot, Eventide Oyster for what would be the first of countless shared dishes and late night walks. On a foggy winter morning in Paris, Jay proposed to Ashlee in a rose garden as the rest of the city still slept.
