Katy + Bill's wedding at Shady Lane Farm in New Gloucester, Maine
Katy + Bill's wedding was perfection. Wild flowers, sunny fields, a beautiful barn, blue grass music, delicious food, a thunderstorm and so much love from their family and friends.
From Katy:
"Bill and I met through our friends Allison and Bob, who are both in the wedding party. Al and Bob were individually telling each of us for years that we would be a great match, and we finally proved them right in February 2014 when we hit it off at Al and Bob’s engagement party in Colorado. Bill was living in Durango, CO at the time we got together, so we did long distance for about 8 months before Bill moved to Portland, OR to live with me while I finish up my school program. I am in school for acupuncture and naturopathic medicine, and will be finishing in the summer of 2017, and we’re planning on moving back to Maine when I’m done. Bill is a graphic designer and screenprinter and he designed and hand-printed each and every one of our invitations! We got engaged in September 2015 on the Oregon coast. Bill proposed with his grandmother Evelyn’s ring, and we stayed at a cute little house overlooking Depoe Bay. We saw lots of grey whales that weekend when we were hiking around on the coast, which felt really special."
