Meagan + Greg's fall wedding at Marianmade Farm in Wiscasset, Maine
I love this story of how Meagan + Greg met!
"We can't remember when we met exactly... as it was probably sometime in the 1st grade in Mrs. Rafford's class. We've imagined it to be something like Meagan was bossing people around on the playground, and Greg smartly kept his distance.
However, when Meagan came back to Yarmouth High School for a semester of junior year we became friends and kept in touch throughout college. In the fall of senior year of college we reconnected and started dating - Meagan at Bucknell University and Greg at The University of Vermont. The fall after graduation we decided to move out west to Portland, Oregon. We took a month-long road trip to get there - exploring National Parks, camping, and crashing with family/friends along the way. While there we had a fantastic time with our family and friends, exploring the west's great outdoors, and enjoying the awesome food, coffee, and beer scene.
Two years later we moved back to Maine for Meagan to begin medical school. While Meagan was in school, Greg turned his hobby and passion for brewing into a job, and is now the head brewer at Liquid Riot Bottling Company.
Meagan recently completed her Family Medicine Residency at Dartmouth Family Medicine Residency Program in New Hampshire, and after three years of “short-distance” is very happy to be back in Portland and both living under the same roof again.
The proposal:
On June 27th, 2015 Greg was visiting Meagan in New Hampshire. As is typical for how we like to spend our time together, we went on a hike in the White Mountains to Bridal Veil Falls. It was a beautiful summer day, and we luckily had the whole place to ourselves. There Greg proposed and Meagan, of course, said yes." - Meagan + Greg
